This cooling collar itself has the magical effect of cooling your pet down without ice.  Velcro closures make them easy to put on and take off.   If you want these collars or vests to be cooler, you can cool it in the refrigerator before use or freezer for longer cooling ( 10-20 minutes only in the freezer ).   Be careful not to be to use them too long.  Too much cold for dogs can cause them to get chilled and this is just as unhealthy as too much heat.  Use these products responsibly on your pet for their safety.
